The styles KIM not professional at all with highlights not recommended for the color or highlights; )
I simple LOVE Roxanne she made me feel comfortable for my first visit. So the 5 stars are for Roxanne not the salon as a whole they dont have the tools asked for by clients with different ethnic backgrounds. I am PR and like the hard rollers because my thing is getting rollers sets and blowouts the salon does not provide said rollers nor do they have clips like the old school salons the rollers they have are hair tangling and NOT for Puerto Ricans with curly hair. We need products for african americans and hispanics with super curly hair or medium curly hair. The products that are provided are NOT for curly hair girls. There is no bathroom i had to go into walmart with rollers to use the bathroom which is super unprofessional of the company. get it together! i have no tv to watch while im waiting for my turn. No music that is jamming. You guys need to STEP IT UP. Clients love the old school rollers and clips we love our ethnic products WHERE IS IT
I've always received excellent service at this salon. Kim is a wonderful stylist, very friendly and knowledgeable
I wish u could give -5 stars! Never reviewed any product or service but I have to about this place/stylist. Please don't get a perm or even a hair cut... I have breakage that stylist says she can't see, even though as she's touching the spots I showed her she just says oh that's from the perm but then kept saying I don't see what you're saying, but you feel it enough to say it's from the perm?! (everybody that has seen my hair sees the breakage) I go back because the "layers" she put look like steps and aren't even on the sides but was hard to see that while it was wet plus the ton of straight hair that didn't curl because after telling her I always require 2 boxes, she said I didn't. Just like the rod size I requested, she didn't listen and kept me sideways to the mirror so I didn't notice, nor did I notice the wrong way to stacked the rods. My hair curls forward, even the whole top. And didn't use a timer, but was doing a relaxer the same time and working the register while my hair was being fried at the top. I also told her I get the perm used on color treated hair because I think my hair is sensitive but she said since I don't color my red hair that I shouldn't need that type of perm (clearly I did) Very nice personality but that doesn't excuse lack of knowledge/skills and she is the manager... I thought all cosmetologist were the same and just because it's inside of Walmart didn't mean they would be bad at their craft. Don't assume like I did!! While I was there complaining about my hair she actually took a call! I snatched the cape off and had to leave before I acted a fool, I told her (while she was on still the phone) that she needs a lot to work on and she told me to have a good day! Wow! Now I have to pay again to have inches cut by another salon and don't know about the straight pieces or the breakage, guess I'll have to buy ponytails. Also I told her I just had my hair cut 2 weeks prior but she insisted that long layers would make the curls look better, I had no layers and was even charged extra because of my hair length, now my hair will have be cut just above my shoulders! Of course I've been crying while I have to pull my hair up to cover up this mess every morning until I get an appointment with a real professional. Please don't fall for a nice lady with big smile, you'll regret it
Worst service I have ever experienced!! Stylist Kim was rude and very unprofessional. I ask for a partial foil and she wants me to show her where to put them. Seriously I am not the professional, she is, so why am I being asked these questions. When I’m not understanding what she’s asking me, she continues to be loud and rude with others around. I have never in all the years I’ve been getting my hair done, been asked where I want the stylist to put my foils. Honestly I don’t even know how to answer that question!!! Needless to say I got up and left. I wouldn’t allow someone that rude and needs me to tell them how to do my hair, to touch it!!!!!
