On March 8, 2012 I contacted him about my concerns by email and he wrote back and said he would correct the mistakes. But since then despite my repeated emails, I have heard nothing. His work therefore can only be described as unprofessional and shoddy. All he had to do was make the necessary corrections, but he chose not to.
I am writing this review of WS Contractors (4953 Bristle Cone Circle Road Aberdeen Md. 21001) to warn people not to use them after the experience I have had with this Company. In December of 2011, I had Mr. Wilcox do some work for me. We agreed on a price and he reneged on that for a starter. The work involved painting an overhang to a side door. Unfortunately neither Mr. Wilcox nor his assistant used any kind of a drop cloth and I am still cleaning up the thousands of paint chips that were strewn all over. They were hidden under the leaves and upon having the leaves raked I discovered the chips everywhere. Mr. Wilcox painted the trim around the door and it has peeled completely.
I advise consumers not to hire WS Contractors or risk this kind of experience. Michela Caudill
Abe Wilcox has done work on my house several time in the past six months. I have been very pleased with him and the quality of his work. He and his crew put a new roof and gutter system on my house which was less expense than the other bids I'd gotten. They were on time, pleasant, and very neat. Then he also installed some kitchen cabinets and a built-in microwave and dishwasher. Again he was on time, the work was done well, and they were very neat. I would recommend Abe for big jobs or small.
