Great hotel and staff. Mgr. Navin, front desk, Lindsay and Judy so friendly. Rooms are clean with a super comfortable bed! Breakfast was awesome. Look forward to coming back here.
First of all the room smelled moldy; I couldn't stop thinking it was dirty. In fact it was dirty! The carpet , and the windows just looked like no one was really cleaning them. What really creeped me out was the rats in the parking lot by the dumpster. While it was on the far side they were walking around in broad daylight like it was no big deal. I have dogs! While I wouldn't let my poochies anywhere near those rats you would think they would run from their natural predators. Well, that and their size tells me they have been here awhile. If my wife had been with me it would have been checkout time! I am tired so I will deal with it but not again. This place needs some investment but I don't see any effort. Now, I have stayed here before over the years and this is the last time. It has gone down and down. I will just have to look elsewhere and I suggest you do as well. If the owner reads this I suggest you get the place in shape and have a pest removal specialist deal with the rats; failure to do so says you don't give a crap!
Hotel is older but the staff was excellent. Baseball weekend they were great with the kids. Rooms were clean.
Air conditioner didn't work properly. Knobs didn't point to actual function. Breakfast was very poor. Scrambled eggs were not good and I have stayed at many hotels were eggs were not great but okay and eaten them. I didn't eat these. General state of disrepair in my room. Also the room and hallways smelled funny even with there attempts to cover up with scented sprays.
Not good.... we arrived for the weekend with 28 rooms reserved. If you are in town for a sporting event, go somewhere else! they were rude from the start and told us that lights out were 9pm. We tried to rent a room to host dinner and were denied.
