Thank You for a pleasant stay. We called this hotel in distress, we were in another nightmare of a hotel, We hadn't been there 20 mins before we were checking out an demanding our money back. When we called the Manager Amy told us not worry she take care of us. So we came over to the Red Roof Inn an she did, she gave us a great room at a reasonable price and it was clean, comfortable and everything was working like it was supposed to be. Our housekeeper Susan was great also an she was very sweet . Great Stay !!! Thank You to The staff at the Red Roof Inn in Aberdeen Md. for saving us from our knightmare. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to the area. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a friendly, clean, comfy and convenient place to stay to come stay here. Great Job !!!
We stayed here recently for a wedding. The website didn't show any rooms available but we tried anyway and I'm glad we did. We were able to check in, front desk was super nice. We got to our room which was a frigid 65. The heat in the rooms are like radiators without forced air so it takes a while to heat the room up but they will. The rooms were okay. It's an older hotel but you could tell they were recently remodeled. For the price, it was worth it.
Affordable, acceptably clean but bare bones when it comes to luxury. For example, the vent fan in the bathroom sounds like a jumbo jet, the towels not fluffy, and rooms cramped. But for a roadside inn, this Red Roof hit the spot.
The cable had plenty of channels, the heater nice and toasty, and the bed firm but comfortable. The staff is by far the most pleasant experience: they are very personable and accommodating. The location is great plenty of restaurants around and a Walgreens on the same side of the highway. 13 minutes to APG at 9 am.
I'm going to put five stars up for a reason in case my ex manager see this. Red Roof I adore as I do the people that work there. Come a long way it's clean quiet pretty much of the time so long as you ain't in the long-term section in B building. Hey I ran maintenance there for a year. Love my guest the most. My general manager the least. And she likes to look at reviews so well read this Amy
Previously rated this location as 5 stars, but currently rating it at a 3. There were several signs that the housekeepers were doing the bare minimum of cleaning and refreshing the room, including a hotel washcloth that appeared to have been wetted and wrapped around the smoke detector previously. Room didn't smell like smoke, so either management was aware that someone had smoked in the room and cleared it out with the ozone machine *or* the smoke detector had been covered for quite a long time. Previously the mattresses I'd seen were quite comfortable, but the ones in this room were *extremely* firm, and the sheets were downright scratchy. None of this is really major enough to call the front desk and ask to have it fixed (especially since there's nothing to "fix" about a covered smoke detector, it just serves as an indicator of the effort level; same with scratchy sheets, it's not like a pair of soft ones can be magically conjured up), or have a portion of the room fee comped, but the place is definitely not the hidden jewel of low price and fantastic accommodations that I previously believed it to be. Still quite alright for the price, but not 5-star great.
